Frank Fertitta Obituary

Frank S. Fertitta, Jr.
Beloved husband and father
Frank Salvatore Fertitta, Jr., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on December 4th, 2020.
He was born to Frank and Amelia Fertitta, and raised in Rosebank, Staten Island along with his five siblings. As a young man he met the love of his life Roxanne Hunt. They married and began to raise a family of their own in Rosebank, son Frank III, and daughter Danielle. For 34 years they shared a beautiful life and cherished memories.
Frank was a man who loved his family deeply, and they loved him just as much. He is described by his children as hard working, loving, caring and strong. Frank worked first at Pesi Co. and later as a technician for Verizon. He was also a great friend and neighbor. He belonged to the Rosebank Boy's Club, an organization near and dear to his heart. Frank loved life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his wife, Roxanne; son, Frank; daughter Danielle; siblings, Sal, Jane, James, Frances, and John-Michael; and best friend Lenny Summa.
The Martin Hughes Funeral Home at 530 Narrows Road So. in Concord has been entrusted by his family to care for his funeral arrangements. Family and friends will be received Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 am at St. Joseph's RC Church in Rosebank. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.

Dear Roxanne, Frank and Danielle,
I am so sorry about your loss at this time. Frank was my closest friend at St. Mary's growing up. He was a wonderful, caring, and such a good friend. We always looked out for each other. Even though it's been years since I've been back to Rosebank he has always remained in my thoughts. Please know that you are in my thoughts today and I know you will celebrate the wonderful moments you have shared with him. I wish I was closer and if there anything I can do across the miles don't hesitate to email me. [email protected]. There will never be another person like your sweet dad, he's the best for sure and I know you know that. all my love. Anthony Santangelo
