SIDNEY - Ann Lincoln Bradfute, 86, of Sidney passed away at 8:11 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Ohio's Hospice of Miami County.
She was born on December 21, 1936, in Woodward, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Arleigh and Dorothy (Rogers) Lincoln.
On November 5, 1977, she married Lyle Bradfute, who preceded her in death in 1996.
Ann is survived by seven children, Eric (Dee) Day of Miamisburg, OH, Sheila (Gary) King of Peninsula, OH, Eileen (Chip) Hix of Sidney, Lisa (Kevin) Stanley of Bartlett, TN, Jennifer (Jim) Baer of New Bern, NC, Jeff (Rachelle) Bradfute of Irmo, SC, and Jon (Robin) Bradfute of Midland, MI; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Charlie Lincoln.
Ann was retired from Y.S.I. in Yellow Springs, Ohio where she worked as a computer programmer. She was a graduate from the University of North Dakota. Ann was a member of P.E.O. and the Dayton Woman's Club. She enjoyed theatre and loved traveling with her late husband and friends. Her greatest love was her family. She doted on her children and grandchildren and kept in touch with them all frequently.
Ann was a member of Sidney First Methodist Church where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Eileen Hix officiating.
Visitation will be at Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 4 to 7 P.M. Burial will be at Massies Creek Cemetery in Cedarville, Ohio at the family's convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County or Sidney First Methodist Church in Ann's memory. Condolences may be expressed to the family at, www.cromesfh.com
