Edward Bell Obituary

Edward Bell
January 11, 1945 – June 11, 2023
Santa Clarita - Edward Charles Bell passed away on June 11, 2023 in his sleep, peacefully at home.
Ed was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1945 to Ray and Merle Bell. Ed finished his education at the University of Arizona, Tucson and moved to California where he started a career at Southern California Edison.
He was proud to call Santa Clarita his home for over 40 years where he and his wife raised their two children.
Ed enjoyed watching sports and spending time with friends and family. He supported the kids in their sports and camping activities. He had a kind heart and always made himself available to help a friend.
After retiring from Edison, Ed kept busy with a second career picking up auction cars for Mountain Motors. Ed enjoyed driving all the different vehicles and keeping moving.
Ed is survived by his wife Janice, his children Greg and Holly, one grandchild and his brother Jack. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A private celebration will be held at the Old Orchard I clubhouse on November 4, 2023 3:00-5:00pm.

Ed was a great older brother always had time for his little brother. He rarely told me "you can´t tag along" when he went out with his friends. Some of my best childhood memories are when I was with him and his friends especially the adventures our mom never knew about. I remember times when our mom, who raised us on her own after our father passed away when Ed was only 7, would be sitting in the yard drinking a cup of coffee and we would join her.
I miss my brother every day and I will be joining all of my family soon on the other side.
Last but not least I would like to thank Ed´s best friend Dick for all he did forEd when we couldn´t be there.
Love and miss you big brother!
