Ella Moses-Elkin Obituary
Ella Rae, born on July 21, 1917 in Smithfield, Cache, Utah to Elizabeth Winifred and David Moses, worked as a dental assistant and front office assistant for over 30 years. Living many different places, as a young woman Ella Rae moved to and lived most of her life in Southern California.
Ella Rae was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend; she was loved dearly by her family and friends. She was an expert seamstress; wonderful cook with many recipes now enjoyed by three generations of family, a loving friend to all and quick to help those in need. Ella Rae loved dancing and music, she was singing up to her last day bringing joy to all those around her.
Survivors include her daughter Carol Murphy, granddaughters Raelene Schiller and Kim Fearnley, great grandchildren Chad, Christian, Parker, Alexa, Brayden, Madison and Cole, her sister Eunice Wilcox and brother Jesse Moses. Ella was preceded in death by her husband Solomon Elkin.
Ella Rae Moses-Elkin will be cremated through the Neptune Society and a small family memorial will be held at the home of daughter, Carol Murphy. Relatives are welcome at the memorial/reception gathering.
Ella's family wrote, "A special thanks to Dr. Raymond Dorio and all the staff who loved her at Summerhill Villa."
