Brian Krogh Obituary

Brian Dennis Krogh

December 28, 1970 - May 9, 2025

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Brian Dennis Krogh, who entered into eternal peace on May 9, 2025. Brian passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, after a year of fighting renal cell carcinoma. Brian won his battle, not by remission or cure, but by everlasting freedom from pain.

Brian was born to Dennis and Sharon Krogh on December 28, 1970, in Sioux City, Iowa.

Brian graduated from Sergeant Bluff-Luton Senior High School in 1989 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Morningside College in 1993. Brian married the love of his life, Amiee, in 1998.

Brian was a fourth-generation farmer whose passion was tending to cattle and growing crops yearly. While his farm was a significant part of his life, the most important aspect was his family. Brian's love for his three children, Justin, Kasey, and Stephanie, along with his wife, Amiee, knew no bounds. Whether it was taking his kids to cattle shows, attending numerous school events, or holding his wife's hand while driving around to check on the cattle, he always had his family at the forefront of his mind. It would be a mistake not to mention Brian's love for the Woodbury County Fair and his 4-H group, Pioneer Valley.

Brian is survived by his loving wife, Amiee; his children, Justin, Kasey, and Stephanie; his mother, Sharon; his sister, Brenda Godfredson (Todd); and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis.

A visitation will be held on May 21, 2025, from 3 to 5 p.m., followed by a memorial service and dinner at Sunnybrook Community Church in Sioux City, Iowa.

Special thanks to the University of Iowa Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, Unity Point Health- St. Luke's, and the University of Iowa Family Medicine Center of Sioux City.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Cancer Association in Brian's memory at PO Box 676226, Dallas, Texas 75267-6226 or by visiting www.kidneycancer.org.
