Paul David Perry

Paul David Perry, 77, of Sioux City, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at his residence, comforted by family.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Mohr & Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City, with Deacon Patricia Roberts officiating. Burial, with Military Rites by the United States Air Force, will follow in Laurel City Cemetery at Laurel, Neb. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Monday morning at the funeral home. The American Legion Post 307 members will proudly be casket bearers for Paul's service. Online condolences may be offered at www.meyerbroschapels.com
Paul was born on Dec. 21, 1943, in McKeesport, Pa., to John E. and Susan C. (Deneshek) Perry. Following his education, Paul served his country in the United States Air Force, and once he had received his honorable discharge, he returned to Sioux City.
Paul married Charlotte Hansen on Aug. 29, 1962, in Sioux City. He joined the crew at Sioux Tools in 1963 as a machinist, and worked his entire career for the same company, retiring in 2002 as foreman. Paul was a proud member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church and the American Legion Post 307 and served as a past-treasurer. He enjoyed golfing.
Paul is survived by his wife, Charlotte of Sioux City; sons, David Perry of Yankton, S.D., Michael Perry of rural Smithland, Iowa, and Robert (Claudia) Perry of Columbus, Ga.; daughter, Eileen Henze of Elk Point, S.D.; and two grandchildren Connor and Emily Henze.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.

Paul and I became good friends while working at Sioux tools together he will be missed. I´m very sorry .
