LOAMI, IL - Dawn R. Ramey, 46, of Loami passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 at her home.

She was born June 29, 1969 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Steven and Joann Shaheen Scott.

Surviving are her mother and father, Joann and Darrell Adcock of Loami; husband, Keith Ramey of Springfield; son, Cameron Ramey of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Lori (Steve) Johnson of Auburn and Deana (John) Bolletta of Decatur; one aunt, Eileen Shaheen of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites were accorded.

Memorial gathering will be from 1 p.m. till 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016 at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn. Burial will be at a later date at West Cemetery, Thayer, IL.

Memorials may be made to the A.P.L., 1001 Taintor Rd., Springfield, IL 62702.

I was so sorry to see the obituary for your daughter. My heart goes out to you. I cannot imagine how devastating the loss of a child, no matter what their age, is. She was a beautiful young woman. Gone much too soon. I will miss Dawn always. What an amazing beautiful spirit She had. I worked with Dawn in Cath lab and it was an honor working with such a skilled professional. Dawn was a beautiful person inside and out. I worked with her when she had just started at the cardiac Cath lab at Memorial. Dawn was always willing to take on the hardest challenges. All that have known Dawn have been touched by a awesome soul.
