Derek Boas Obituary

IRVING - Derek Ryan Boas, 28, of Irving, died April 11, 2009, as a result of an automobile accident.

He is survived by son, Reese; wife, Rebecca; mother, Jane (husband, Donald) Murphy of Springfield; father, Joseph Boas of Irving; brother, Dustin of Springfield; sister, Rani (husband, Jason) Harms of Glenarm; grandparents, J.C. and Martha Richmond and Catherine Boas, all of Hillsboro; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Derek was engaged in farming with his father.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 16, from 4-8 p.m. and services on Friday, April 17, at 11:00 a.m., all at Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home, Hillsboro, IL. Burial will be in Bost Hill Cemetery.
