Linda, although we knew each other briefly I quickly picked up on your devotion to Ike. That in addition to him wanting you at his side demonstrated true love. I've thought of you daily. Please be assured my offer to visit stands. Please be kind to yourself as you navigate what is to come.

"IKE" AND I WERE IN THE 1953 CLASS OF JHS. WORKED ALONG SIDE IKE IN THE CAFETERIA, BUT THE BIG "THING" ABOUT "IKE" WAS HIS SKILL AS A BASKETBALL PLAYER. HIS TALENT AS A GUARD WAS UNSURPASSED!
MY SYMPATHIES TO HIS WIFE AND FAMILY.

Ike remains a Jacksonville high school Crimsons’ basketball legend and always a great supporter of the program. He was a kind humble gentleman, a loving father and husband.
My sincere condolences are sent to his loved ones. May precious memories sustain his family throughout the years.

To the Wright Family from the Keller Family: Please know that we sympathize with you at the passing of your father and grandfather. Our father, Paul Keller, raised us with stories of Ike on and off the basketball court. He considered Ike to be the best basketball player he ever saw come out of Jacksonville. But he also felt Ike was a groundbreaker and leader off the court. My only regret is that I never got to see him play basketball, but our dad said that Randy was a mirror image of him. And Randy was the best player of my era. To this day I still value the friendship Randy and I shared, as baseball teammates and basketball adversaries. Ike was an icon in Jacksonville and will not be forgotten anytime soon. Bless his memory. Bless his soul.
