James V. Fulginiti

SPRINGFIELD, IL - James "Jim" V. Fulginiti, 76, died at 2:11 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at his residence in Springfield after a valiant battle with cancer.

He was born Nov. 7, 1937, in Conshohocken, Pa., to Francis and Elizabeth Moore Fulginiti. He married Sharon Murray on May 27, 1978, and she survives.

Also surviving are four daughters: Brianna Fulginiti and Kate (Jim) Beatty both of Jacksonville, Fla., Lisa (Jeff) Laird of Spring, Texas and Cheri Fulginiti (Fran Arrington) of Cumming, Ga.; two sons, Michael (Andrea) Fulginiti of Aston, Pa., and Jim (Cheryl) Fulginiti of Downingtown, Pa.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Peter Fulginiti of Prospect Park, Pa.; aunt and uncle, Rose and Jim Fulginiti of Ridge Manor, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was proprietor of the Colonial Men's Clothing Shop in Prospect Park, Pa. He then began working for Lerner clothing stores as a District Manager and became director of store operations on the west coast.
