We are parishioners at St. Joseph's and remember a very happy person when we remember Fr Corredato. Always had a smile on his face and just seem to really enjoy everyone and everything. When my daughter went to college in Edwardsville and knew no one, I was very happy that a familiar face was there to greet her and help her if she needed it. Our deepest sympathy to the family of Fr. Corredato.

I was a Kindergarten Teacher at St. Boniface, in Edwardsville for 2 years. I saw him every day. He was a wonderful priest. He also Baptized my 2 children in 1993 and 1996. My prayers for you.

This note for Jim. I remember our times so well and your telling me of your brother John. I also remember your conversations about the Vallorz, my neighbors in Chatham. God bless you. Please know that you and the family are in my prayers.

John's
mother and my mother were room mates when they delivered John and me. Our
parents remained friends for life. I visited John several times in Vegas
and enjoyed our visits.. Sorry I can't be there for his wake and funeral.

My goodness, the Miller family has such great memories of Fr. Corredato. Our parents were friends, John Miller and Jim Corredato were beptized on the same day, and we have many happy memories with Fr. Corredato both in Springfield at St. Joe's and visiting him at St. Viators in Las Vegas. Our sympathy to the entire family. He was larger than life and will be greatly missed. Thanks for being our friend for many years and for being such a positive influence on our sons.

Our condolences to the family. I remember Father John from when we were kids and attended St. Al's grade school although he was a couple of years older than I was. My husband and I attended his first Mass.

May the choirs of angels come to greet you; may they lead you to Paradise!
Our condolences to all of Fr. John's family, friends and community. He was truly a wonderful priest, friend and neighbor. His ability to preach and teach will never be forgotten, but it is his caring personality that will always be remembered first. We are thankful to have shared some time with him; his influence on us and our family will last a lifetime.
Well done, good and faithful servant.
