LAS VEGAS - Kathryn Jachino, 95, of Las Vegas and formerly of Springfield, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2009.
She was born on October 7, 1913, in Ladd, Illinois, the daughter of Remo and Albina Margelli Faggetti. She married Joe Jachino on November 27, 1947, in Nokomis and he preceded her in death in 1985.
She also was preceded in death by her two sisters and two brothers.
Survived by her two sons, Edward L. Hayes (wife, Pat) of Las Vegas, NV, and Joseph Jachino (wife, Pam) of Springfield; four grandchildren, Andrew Hayes of Chicago, Christopher Hayes of Las Vegas, Anthony Jachino (wife, Rachel) of Springfield and Joseph Jachino Jr. of Springfield; four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Private family Graveside services will be held at Camp Butler National Cemetery Monday, March 2, 2009. Reverend Dean Probst officiating and Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester is in charge of arrangements.
