Nancy Meadows
ATHENS, IL - Nancy Meadows, 80, of Athens, passed away Dec. 22, 2014, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Ill.
She is survived by her daughter, September (Stan Kitchens) Shipman; granddaughter, Andria (Douglas) Wentzel; and two great-grandchildren, John Montgomery and Jaylen Walls.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Erica Shipman Walls.
Nancy was born Sept. 13, 1934, in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of William and Emma (Elston) Polk.
Private services to be held by family at a later date.
Cremation was accorded by Mott & Henning Funeral Home, in Athens, Ill.
Nancy was a huge animal lover and memorials can be made to: Pets Without Parents, P.O. Box 166, Easton, IL, 62633.

I will miss Nancy's laughter, smile and all of her stories. I worked with her for many years and our friendship lasted long after. We shared a lot of laughs. I will miss her terribly. We are thinking of you and the family September.
