PLEASANT PLAINS - Robert H. Braner, 51, of Pleasant Plains passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 26, 1956, in Springfield, the son of Alfred Henry and Genevieve Willard Braner Jr. He married Linda Lockeby on Oct. 18, 1978, in Pleasant Plains. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Mr. Braner was employed with ABF Trucking for 20 years. He also worked in construction. He was an elder with Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Surviving are his wife, Linda; son, Robert Henry (wife, Brittanie) Braner II; daughter, Sheri Ann (husband, Peter) Caro; father, Alfred H. (wife, Barbara A.) Braner Jr.; brothers, Steve, Mike and James Braner, Derek Guernsey and Timmy Nudo; sisters, Vicki Bryant and Katherine Reiser; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses South Congregation, 3076 Normandy Road, with Gary W. Spencer officiating. A reception will immediately follow for all friends and family at Sangamon Prairie Reception Center in Chatham.

Vancil Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
