Robert E. Davis

SPRINGFIELD, IL - Robert "Bob" Davis, 54, died at 10:59 a.m., June 5, 2014, at St. John's Hospital after a long battle with throat cancer.

A memorial service will be held from 1-5 p.m. on June 15 at the Eagles Club, 2700 E. Ash, Springfield.

Bob was born Aug. 10, 1959, the son of Harold and Mary Ellen (Bosie) Davis. His parents and a sister, Debbie Gustin, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; two sons and stepdaughter, Joshua (Chelsea), Jacob and Mandy; two brothers, Bill (Rhonda) and Mike (Jenny); several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
