Robert McCall, Jr.
LINCOLNSHIRE - Robert McCall, Jr., 91 passed away February 15, 2012 at Wealshire Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Mr. McCall was the third child of Robert and Eliza McCall. He was born January 21, 1921 in Thayer, Illinois.
He graduated from Virden High School in 1939. Professionally, he was a truck driver and later the dispatcher and office manager for Matthew's transfer company in Springfield. He continued to work during retirement serving as a custodian for Chatham High School. An active Free Mason for more than 50 years, he was a life member of the Ark and Anchor Lodge No. 354, AF&AM in Auburn.
He married Marie Motley on May 13, 1945. They were members of the Auburn Methodist Church and later the Thayer Methodist Church. Originally from Sangamon County, he and his wife moved to Lake County to be closer to their family. They were married for 59 years. In 2005, she preceded him in death. He attended Kirk of the Lakes Church in Mundelein.
Surviving are his daughter, Sharen (Robert) Taylor; three grandchildren, Rhett (Constance) Taylor, Ryan Taylor, and Raegan (Jeremy) Towne; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 12 noon at Kirk of the Lakes Church. Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2012 from 10 a.m. till time of Masonic services at 11 a.m. at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn. Funeral services will follow immediately after with Rev. Jeremy J. Towne officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Thayer United Methodist Church.

We are so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. We so enjoyed being neighbors to them both in Walnut Park in Chatham. They were special to us and our children. Please accept our sympathy to all of you! They were so proud of their family. Barb and Denny Mumaw
