KINSTON, NC - Thomas Patrick "Tom" Mann Sr., 55, of Kinston, NC., passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016.
Tom was born November 9, 1960 in Springfield, Illinois to Charles Mann and the late Rose Marie Gorman Mann. Tom worked with DSM Dyneema, LLC in Greenville. Tom was a true sportsman, most comfortable outdoors, on the water or in the woods. He enjoyed a good joke, teased everyone he came in contact with and was always the life of the party.
A time of visitation and fellowship will be held Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 11AM until 12 Noon at Cotton Hill United Methodist Church, Springfield. Funeral services will follow at 12 Noon. Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln has been entrusted with his care.
In addition to his father, Tom is survived by his wife of almost thirty six years, Beth Kinder Mann; two sons, Thomas Patrick Mann, Jr. and wife, Jennifer, and Charles Mann; grandchild, Avalon Barr; sister, Angie Wollesen and husband, Chris; brother, Stephen Mann and wife, Laurie; along with a number of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Didn't Know Tom had passed away until now ..I was truly shocked..and sadden to hear this..Tom was good friend when we worked together at Dupont..on the same shift .. good friend and co-worker.l will truly miss you Tom..good bless you and your family

I worked with Tom and he was a joy to be around. He always had a clever remark or joke to brighten your day. We were all a real tight knit group on A shift. I will truly miss him and my prayers go out to his family. May God comfort you during this time.
