Todd Fox Obituary
Todd Alan Fox
Todd A. Fox, 46, of Joliet, formerly of Springfield passed peacefully from this life surrounded by his family on September 8, 2010. His death was the result of a motorcycle accident which occurred September 4, 2010.
Born January 14, 1964, in Marion, Todd was the son of Alan and Arlene Fox of Wilmington. Following graduation from Pleasant Plains High School he attended Lincoln Land Community College. He was a member of Springfield Southern Church.
Todd was a warehouse worker and supervisor for many years in both Springfield and Joliet areas. He was employed most recently by Flexible Staffing as site manager of the Bissell Distribution Center in Elwood, IL.
Todd was looking forward to beginning a new chapter in his life with fiancé, Margaret Doty and her daughters, Allison and Emily.
Todd was the ultimate St. Louis Cardinal fan, an intense Chicago Bears booster and a NASCAR fan. He also cheered for all teams who beat the Cubs and Packers.
He is survived by his parents; daughters, Cassie Fox of Urbana, Tabatha Fickas and Mindy Cook both of Springfield; seven grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Tricia and Jason Smith of Coal City; maternal grandfather, John Milligan of Greenfield, IN; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2010 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 N. 5th St., Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Plains' Cemetery where Todd will rest next to his beloved brother who died September 27, 2001, as a result of a motorcycle accident. Both gave a "Gift of Hope" to many others by being organ donors.

My heart goes out to the Fox Family.We had alot of laughs at Bunn and on the outside of Bunn. He was always there for me when I needed help. I will never forget his laugh and how he could sing like Elvis. Those were good times and now precious. I can only think that's how he will live in our home above. To the Fox Family:
I'll struggle for just the right words to comfort the Fox family in this difficult moment. Grandpa hired me, I faithfully taught all his kids and later grandkids the finer points of art. The links and bonds of the Martin family and Fox families intertwine but are unbroken even as Terry and Todd have tragically left us here way too soon. It is especially tough because as you know I, too, love motorcycles of every stripe, in spite of their inherent dangers. These fine men left this world doing exactly what the loved in this life and left a legacy of knowing how to live and give... I don't know about you, but a real long but utterly empty life doesn't sound all that appealing to me. Generousity of spirit trumps old age every time! Have a peaceful heart child.

So sorry to hear about Todd. I was a co-worker with him at Bunn. I didn't work close with him as he worked in the warehouse and I was in the office however when he did make it to the office or I made it to the warehouse, he always spoke and was very nice. To my friend, we shared alot of great times together and I thank God for the opportunity to have been your friend! I feel you made everyone you mets life better just by entering theirs.
