Victor Sabattini Obituary
SARASOTA, Fla. - Victor Sabattini, formerly of Springfield, passed away on July 5, 2010, at the age of 93.
He is survived by his four children, all of Florida; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers, Sam Sabattini of Springfield and Louis Sabattini of Sarasota, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held July 17th at 1 p.m. at Toale Brothers Funeral Homes, Sarasota, Fla.

To the Family of Dear Vic Sabattini: I am saddened to learn of Vic's passing and want to express my sincere sympathy to each of you. He was a lovely man and we all looked forward to his visits at the Franklin Life Home Office. We were fortunate that he had close family here in Springfield because we could visit with him often. He just brought sunshine with him and was a wonderful person to know. God bless each and every one of you in your time of sorrow.

When next I visit the day will be ours, and we will not let it take us anywhere, make something of it, or use it wisely. We will not fill it with things we'll never finish, past regrets or future fears. Like chameleons we'll adjust ourselves to rain or shine and feel no preference. Let the world set her own stage, our spontaneity needs no rehearsal to fill each other's empty spaces. Every minute as deserving as an hour, each line spoken a masterpiece of joy. Uncle Vic was one of my earliest heroes in the business. He was always so full of life, embracing every day and sharing contagious joy with everyone he met. His legacy lives on in many ways in my practice, and undoubtedly in many others'. The positive effect that he made during lifetime will continue to ripple for years to come, both through his clients and his colleagues. Vic- we loved you, we will miss you, and we will remember you.

My partner, my buddy, my confidant, my best friend but most of all my pop. There is not a minute of the day that I don't think of you and all the times we shared, especially during the last year and a half. What wonderful memories I will always have. We were saddened to learn of Uncle Vic's recent passing. He continued to amaze and inspire us with his zest for life throughout his many years. We will never forget his wonderful sense of style and charm, both on a personal and a business level. We think of him often and will continue to do so, especially as we send out birthday cards with gum to our clients each month! How blessed we are to have been a part of his "Franklin Family".
Due to a Family Reunion on the 17th, we won't be able to attend the Memorial Service, but please know we are thinking of you.
