BIANCA LINDHOLM Obituary
She was born on February 6, 1989 in Anacortes. Bianca attended schools in Anacortes and graduated from Anacortes High School. Following high school she attended Skagit Valley College, focusing on general studies and seeking to "find herself". She attracted many people with her smiling face and friendly personality.
Bianca loved music and reading and almost always had a new book that she was just starting or finishing. One of her favorite authors was Stephen King, reading everything he had written. Bianca loved warm sunny days at the beach or the park with her son, Kyle, who was the light of her life. Bianca had an artistic nature and displayed a natural talent for drawing and sketching.
In years past, she enjoyed skiing and snowboarding at Mount Baker and Whistler. Bianca enjoyed traveling, spending time in South Carolina, Washington, DC, Mexico, Florida and the New Orleans area. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a kind and caring heart and was a loyal friend, who would do almost anything for her friends.
Bianca was preceded in death by her child's father, Kyle Leander of Sedro-Woolley.
She is survived by her son, Kyle James Leander of La Conner; parents, Ed and Angela Finlan of La Conner; brother, Michael Larpenter of Anacortes; grandparents, Jim and Ruth Thomas of Houma, LA, Brook Trout of Burlington, Joe and Linda Lindholm of Anacortes; great-grandparents, Joyce Marcel of Bayou Blue, LA, Mary Macom of Anacortes; aunts and uncles, Alyssa and Joel Russell of Squamish, BC, Mandy and Todd Manno of Houma, LA, and Joe and Kristi Lindholm of Anacortes; and numerous cousins and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Evans Funeral Chapel in Anacortes with a reception to follow at the Croatian Cultural Center, 801-5th Street, Anacortes, WA.
Memorials may be made to Phoenix Recovery Services or the Friendship House, both of Mount Vernon, WA. A memorial account has also been established for her son, Kyle at Skagit State Bank.
Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., Anacortes, WA and the San Juan Islands.

Angela- I love you and your family. I had the best years with Bianca. No one will ever compare to her no matter what. So many things have happened, and the first person I always want to tell is Bianca. I know that it will only get better in time, and eventually become easier. I have so many memories I'm looking forward to sharing with Kyle as he gets older about his beautiful mom :) Feel free to call me WHENEVER!! I'm not going anywhere; I'll always be here for you, Ed, and Kyle. Thank you for giving me my best friend. <3

I am blessed that i got to spend so much time with Bianca as she grew up, I only wish in the past few years that I had lived closer to get to see her more. I will always have our memories from our summers together in South Carolina. I know that she is at peace now and watching out for everyone especially her adorable little guy. Kyle is such a joy and ball of energy that it is hard not to see her spirit and energy in him. We will all miss you Bianca!

I was blessed to know Bianca through her best friend, my niece Jazmin Strickert. It was devastating to hear a life so young was taken. She is at peace and now our angel in heaven.

Thank you to everyone who came out to share in Bianca's memorial. It was a beautiful tribute to her spirit. She was kind and loving person. She tried so hard to overcome the pain she suffered in life. Take hope and solace in knowing that she is now at rest embraced in love and peace.

I can still see my niece Marie and Bianca playing together at Marie's house and Bianca's Uncle Joe and Aunt Kristi house. They were around 10 or 11 and both loved cats. They went treat or treating together. This was after Marie's Dad passed away and Joe and Kristi would include Marie at a lot of the Lindholm get to togethers and even a wedding. Marie moved to Seattle and they lost touch. Bianca was such a sweet beautiful young lady.

I was stunned when I saw the name in the paper today. "Lindholm" has been on my mind for some time as I get older and realize lost family from the past is so important to stay connected to. I am so sorry for the loss of this young woman who I never had the chance to get to know - a cousin by marriage through my grandparents Cotton and Margaret Lindholm. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Lindholm family and Bianca's precious little one.
