Beth & I are forever grateful to have Chuck & Jeane as our neighbors. You have many neighbors in a lifetime but not many become dear friends. He was a dear friend. Always a smile and a delightful conversation to follow. Never missed a biscuit for our pups Finn & Ryker. I’ll will miss our spirited conversations regarding world events. He could handle my sarcasm like a pro. I will live with the fact that my conduit install on our patio should have followed his recommendations. He would forever remind me of that recommendation. He was so wonderful when we lost a son. Always checking in on us. We so needed that at the time of our loss. An amazing individual that will be dearly missed by our family.
RIP Mr. Chuck - We Love You

I first met Chuck at Bible Study in the Bay Area. We stayed in touch through the years and sent pictures of our families at Christmas. Since my husband grew up in the Seattle area, we also visited Chuck, Jeanne & their kids when we were in Washington for reunions or vacations. We will all meet again when we get to Heaven!

I was so very sorry to hear of Chuck's passing. He was among the most kind and decent men I have ever met. When I came to work for the PUD in 2004, he immediately came alongside and made me feel comfortable and valued. He did his best to explain how electricity worked (several times), but I only got about 10% of what he told me! He also taught me how to play racquetball, even trying to let me win a game until it became obvious that he could beat me blindfolded - but he was ever gracious in victory. I could always tell how very proud he was of his family - they meant the world to him and you tell that everything he did in life had them front and center in his heart and mind. God bless and RIP, Chuck. Best to you, Jeane, and your entire family.
