Dave and I were neighbors growing up and then later we reconnected, and he was a good friend to my husband. After my husband died in 1973, we kind of lost track, but one day a couple of years ago I was at a kid's basketball game at SVC and this voice says is that you Patty. Only people that new me at a young age called me that. We stood outside and visited for at least 20 minutes, and I wished we would have had more time to catch up. He told me of his journey and how he was so sure he was going to beat it. It was a pleasure to have known him, and to be a small part of his life. My sincere condolences to all of his family and friends.

I enjoyed chatting with Dave at work. So welcoming and just a laid back pleasure to talk with. He was a good dude. My condolences to his family.
