Ethan died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 13, 2022 in Moscow, Idaho. Ethan's memorial will be held Monday, November 21, 2022, 4:00 PM at McIntyre Hall in Mount Vernon. Please wear blue, it was Ethan's triplet color. A full obituary will be published at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ethan's name are suggested to PNW Rain, 2915 E Blackburn Rd., Mount Vernon, WA 98274. With sympathy and the utmost respect I wanted to say that having watched this tragedy and unbearable loss from the start via the media I am still shocked by it. Having been given the opportunity to hear from the family through this latest documentary I feel that finally people know what an amazing person Ethan was. Honestly I was moved to tears in each of the interviews with all of the family. I do not personally know the family but wish them all peace. The world has lost someone very special in Ethan. To his parents and Hunter and Maisie, as you know, he was loved by many and will be in the hearts of people who may be complete strangers to you for many years to come, as will you all.

I met Ethan in the summer of 2022 at Hill's Resort. He served my friend & I several times & spoke of his family in western Washington, being a triplet, having worked with the Tulips & his excitement at attending school in the fall.
He was the kind of young man who sparked joy & made you feel happy to have met him.
He was unafraid to share himself & clearly appreciated everything he had, especially the friendships he made working at Hill's.
My heart is with his family & friends after this senseless loss. He was a fine young man & I will remember his sweet personality & service.

Words seem inadequate. I cry each time I see a picture of Ethan, most notably when I see his triplets who were left behind. Mom and Dad, as a parent I can’t imagine your pain. However, I am in awe of your grace. Thank you for sharing Ethan with the world, and most recently in all of these treasured photos and videos, which were simply lovely. I’m so very sorry the world has been robbed of Ethan’s physical presence. In his honor I will continue to teach my own young sons to live fully, laugh loudly and love without limits. We will also plant some tulips in Ethan’s honor once things warm up here on the Jersey Shore. Hearts are broken all over the world. We all lost something. We all mourn with you. And we are all better for having “known” Ethan, even if it was only through the memories you so graciously shared, and the grace you so selflessly display.
