Sorry for your loss Randy, Brian, and Little Steve! Your Dad was one of the funniest and good natured guys to be around. He could dish it out with the best of them because he could take it to. The first time I met him I thought who is this guy? I am glad I got to know the man we all effectionately called "Gurn". Your Dad was awesome. Always had to have the first word and the last. I will always remember him talking smack to me/us but would never miss one of our games because he looked forward to the opportunity to put us in our place. Always a class act and I will miss running in to him out and about. Be proud of your Dad because he sure was proud of you guys. Gurn, Rest in Peace my friend. We will see you on the other side one day!

Fun loving guy I had many great memories back in the days when he worked at Carnation I met him at the Village Lanes and bowled with him several years. We also had many great times playing the horses at the old Longacres and he was a character who you never would forget.

I use to play football and baseball with Gary at Roger’s Field. I recall him running the bases with a cast on. Several times I rode with him down to Rainier Ice in Georgetown to get bags of crushed ice for the Milk Trucks in University Village. Gary was full of energy and always a lot of fun.

Only knowing Gary for the past 8 years being his and Laurie’s right next door neighbor was like we had known him for a lifetime. A true gem, full of love and laughter when we crossed paths. Our hearts are heavy with heart ache and will always remember the man next door that ment so much to us. Until we meet again our forever friend.

Laurie and family. Gary was a unique one of a kind guy. I loved when he came driving in with radio blaring and him singing loud and park his car next to my patio not knowing I was out there. He was a love and will be so missed. As Wes calls him... the Ice Cream Man is now serving in Heaven. Love you.
