Judy Chase Obituary
Judy was born in Vancouver, Washington on November 8, 1946, to Cecil and Eleanor "Margie" (Reinertsen) Pepin. At age 7, Judy was adopted by Julius and Lois (Webster) Jonasson of Sedro-Woolley.
She attended Sedro-Woolley High School and was a member of the track team, graduating in 1965.
Our mom was a hard worker, who rarely missed a day's work. She worked for Brown Root at the Shell Refinery for close to 20 years. She enjoyed having a good time, was quick-witted and could hold her own in any situation. She took pride in her daughters and grandchildren. She taught us about good music, how to laugh until we cried and expected us to stick together as sisters. Christmas was her favorite time of the year, and we will cherish those times for years to come.
Judy is survived three daughters, Kimmi (Mark) Kitchen, Karri (Ricky) Foster and Kelli Chase; seven grandchildren, Jesika (Adam) Kitchen, Ryein (Sonny) Taylor, Klaye (Nicole) Kitchen, Kent Kitchen, Dustin (Deicy) Mathis, Kaiden and Jillian Foster; seven great grandchildren, Adley Martin, Tennesyn Taylor, Leighton Kitchen, Tolen Taylor, Falyn Martin, Briggs Kitchen and Owein Lou Taylor; sister, Carol (Al) Gulliford; brothers, Gene (Ann) Doss and Tim Bradket. She will always be remembered as a spunky, spitfire that would speak her mind, no matter what, and she will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life Potluck will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Burlington Eagles, located at 119 North Cherry Street, in Burlington, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to Humane Society of Skagit Valley in Judy's name. You may share memories with the family online at ww.lemleychapel.com.
