LEONARD WALDEN Obituary


A Celebration of Life of Leonard Stuart Walden will be held February 2nd at 11:00 am at the Alger Community Hall, 18735 Parkview Lane Alger, Wa.

Born to Howard Ellis Walden and Norma Faye Brown on April 6, 1953 in Burlington, WA.

Leonard graduated from Burlington Edison High School in 1971, followed by a long career as a Timber Feller. Following his completion of an AA degree, he also worked at Skagit Recovery as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for several years before returning to logging.

Our Papa was an enthusiast of many things, among them were classic film, classic cars, fishing, painting, woodworking, camping, and football.

Leonard was preceded in death by mother Norma Faye Brown, father Howard Ellis Walden, brother's Steven, Aaron, Tony, and Kelly.

Leonard is survived by wife of 21 years Carol Walden, sons Josh Walden (Haibo), Bradley Walden, and Chuck Plummer, daughters Lisa Plummer, Andrea Nichols (Tom), Jamie Meiers, Laurel Alson (Corey), Kristi Hauenstein (Josh). First wife Patty Walden. Brothers Terry Walden (Sue) and Jon Day. Leonard is also survived by his 18 beloved grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.

Leonard impacted many lives and will be missed dearly.
