Michael Baith Obituary

Burlington - Mike Baith left us 12/1/24 at the age of 85. Mike was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The Navy brought him to Washington. While stationed in Oak Harbor he met and married Margaret Bosma. They had a daughter Michelle. Michelle and Rick Schauer gave them a granddaughter Dani. In October Dani and Cody Taylor blessed us all with great-grandson Tate. Mike retired from Boeing in 1995 and moved to Skagit County to be near the Skagit river and spend his retirement years fishing.

In 2001 he married Patti Hoag Baith who he loved dearly. They spent their time in Burlington enjoying time with their extended family and fishing on his beloved Skagit River.

He was a very kind person who loved animals and kids. He will be lovingly remembered and missed.

I spent many days fishing near Mike on the Skagit River. We always exchanged greetings in the morning and the occasional fish story at the boat launch at the end of the day. He was a great man and yes, he loved his river!
Tightlines Mike!
