MICHAEL KATARZY Obituary
Michael grew up in Alameda County, California attending school and completing high school. He served with the U.S. Marines in Vietnam earning a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars.
He came to Washington in 1980 residing in Burlington and Sedro-Woolley for many years where he worked as a carpenter and truck driver.
Michael enjoyed trap shooting, riding motorcycles, and carpentry.
He is survived by his father, Otto Katarzy and a brother, Darrel Katarzy both of Sedro-Woolley. His children, Michael Katarzy II, Steven Katarzy, and Rhonda Katarzy all of California.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be Friday, August 26, 2011 at 11:00AM at Green Hills Cemetery in Burlington.
Visitation is available on Wednesday and Thursday from 9AM to 5PM at Lemley Chapel, Sedro-Woolley.
