Robert Hoffman Obituary
Bob was born on December 3, 1941 in Sedro Woolley, WA to Lester and Evelyn (Wood) Hoffman. He attended Sedro Woolley schools and graduated with the class of 1961. He was a Cubs wrestler and member of the boxing club. He was a scrappy fighter, right to the end.
After graduation, Bob completed a five-year apprenticeship and was a life member of Local 26 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union. Though he worked in many states throughout the country, Snelson's (one of his primary employers) was his favorite. He was a hard worker and known as a "hard ass" to work for. He also owned a small, independent, local plumbing and heating business and built many of his own homes.
Bob was quick with a smile and his own brand of advice and humor. Everyone that knew him, would see him coming a mile away with that huge smile and friendly conversation.

I had the privilege of interviewing Bob many years ago. Unbeknownst to me, Bob´s family lived in Clear Lake directly across the road from Wade´s Service Station (now a mini mart situated at the south end of the town of Clear Lake). Bob´s mother owned and operated a cafe in a remodeled service station where the Hoffman family resided in the mid to late 1940s. My condolences to Bob´s family at this time of great loss.
