Stuart Harr Obituary
Stuart was raised in Indio, CA, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and on March 4th, 1972, he was baptized. His decisions reflected the importance he placed on his faith and family. He had a generous heart and dedicated much of his time to others. His self-sacrificing spirit moved him to freely give his time and energy to regularly preaching about God's kingdom and its promises as well as serving as an elder in the Gateway congregation and utilizing his carpentry skills to participate on theocratic building projects.
He enjoyed watching and playing sports as well as lunch dates with his wife Jamie, the grandkids, or one of the numerous people who stopped in the office. Stuart and Jamie loved to entertain together. You would often find Stuart behind the grill, mixing drinks for guests, or somewhere in the kitchen trying to feed you. He was fun loving, happy, caring, hilarious, and full of life. His smile and laugh were infectious.
His love for woodworking stemmed from woodshop in high school, where he won 1st place in the county fair for a camper he built for the back of his parents pickup. He garnered a good reputation as a successful carpenter. Stuart ran and operated a cabinet shop with the support of his wife, Jamie, for the past 37 years.
Stuart is survived by his wife of nearly 45 years, Jamie Harr and their three children, his daughter Rachael (Drew), son Stuart Jr. (Sarah) and son Ross. He loved spending time with his four grandchildren as well - Rafe, Peyton, Erwin, and Gloria. He leaves behind three older siblings- Utahna, Linda and Steve. Stuart was preceded in death by his mother Rose and father Ervin (John) Harr.
Memorial services for Stuart will be held at the Sedro-Woolley High School auditorium February 17th at 2 pm and can also be attended via Zoom.
