Yetzer, Charles P. age 81, of Brooklyn Park. Korean War veteran. Retired from AT&T after 34 years. 50 years of service and Past Grand Knight with Knights of Columbus. Preceded in death by parents, Henry & Adelaide; brother, Henry; and grandson, Joshua. Survived by wife of 57 years, Bernice; children, Henry, Diana (Jim) Reinke, Richard (Cathy), Jeff (Melanie), and Lynn (Pete) Blount; grandchildren, Christina and Andrew Reinke, Justin, Travis, and Cassie Yetzer, and Dylan and Tyler Blount; great grandchildren, Destiny, Rylie, and Ella; brothers, Vernon (Carol), George, and Paul; sisters, Anna Jedlicka and Marie Kampa; and other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday at the Church of St. Alphonsus, 70th & Halifax Aves. N., Brooklyn Center. Visitation 5-8 PM Thursday at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, and 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing. I have many memories of the Yetzer family who lived neighbors with us (the Johnson family). Charlie and I started 1st grade together and continued thru 8th at McKinley School and also 4 years at Milaca H.S. I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to visit with Charlie & his wife at many class reunions and he will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss, It's never easy loosing a parent, it was hard loosing mom 3-1/2yrs ago. It wasn't that long ago he joined Jeff,my dad & my family at the Osseo legion for Lingo, it was a fun night had by all!
