Cynthia Dean Obituary

Cynthia Dean
06/14/1952 - 05/07/2025
Cynthia Bruning Dean passed away peacefully on Wednesday night, May 7, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on June 14, 1952, she had been courageously battling cancer for over six years.
Cynthia is survived by her loving husband, Roger Dean; her sister, Terre Sandell; her children, Laishah Dean, Nathan Dean, and Senta Parker; and her grandchildren, Azure Blanco, Amelie Oldani, Noa Malone, Nohea Malone, Naxos Dean, and Tavian Dean. She has many cousins and a large extended family who love her deeply.
Cynthia spent many years working in banking at various locations throughout Sonoma. However, her true calling was her faith. A lifelong member of Jehovah's Witnesses, she was passionate about sharing her Bible-based hope with others. In the past couple of decades, she very willingly volunteered her time in territories throughout the western United States, including at the Golden Gate Bridge and various locations in San Francisco, and closer to home at the Sonoma Plaza.
A memorial and talk will take place at the Veterans Memorial Center, 126 First St W, on Sunday, June 8 at 3:00 PM. Zoom information: Meeting ID: 839 2452 3860 Passcode: 450837. Her family welcomes all who knew her to come and honor her memory together.

To the Dean and extended family, I can´t express enough the sorrow I feel for all of you, and for not being there in person to share memories of Cindy and her outstanding record of faithfulness and endurance.

We pray for an extra portion of Jehovah´s peace and endurance this day.

Warmest love,

The Korte Family.

Though I was still getting to know my cousin, whenever I was around her, I always admired how she always exemplified calm and grace, and am sure that's why she had such a supportive and good affect on her beautiful family. She was a calm and spiritual support in good and not so good times...and maintained the twinkle she had....will miss her sweet gentleness in our family...and hope I'm there when she wakes up in the resurrection..lol to her family at this time..aletha
