SOUTH BEND - “Tony” Anthony Lamar Herrell of South Bend, IN, age 52, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017. Tony was an electronic technician in the field of computer science.
Tony was born on May 16, 1965, in South Bend, to Robert Lee and Frances Marine (Owens) Herrell. He is survived by his former wife, Laura Herrell of South Bend; daughters, Audree (Daniel Webb) Herrell of South Bend and Carie (Brandon) Sailes of Osceola, IN; grandchildren, Elijah Walker, I'Leah Webb, Braedon Sailes, Brycen Sailes, and Cheyanne Sailes; sister, Debra (James) Allen of Muskegon, MI; brother, Robert Lee Herrell, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; and his mother, Frances Herrell of Spring Lake, MI; niece, Jaime (Craig) Steward of Norton Shores, MI; nephew, James (Chioma) Allen, III of Indianapolis, IN; and one great-nephew, Darrion Herrell of Las Vegas, NV. Tony was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Herrell; paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Addie Herrell; maternal grandparents, Hermon and Birdie Owens; and nephew, Darrick Herrell.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 18, 2017, at Palmer Funeral Home River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Herrell family in the care of Palmer Funeral Homes for final expenses.
