Chris Newman Obituary
SOUTH BEND - Chris A. Newman, 45, passed away on Sunday September 19, 2010, at his home. Chris was born January 9, 1965, in South Bend, IN, to Donald C. Newman and Lois M. Newman who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jan and Michele Newman. Chris is survived by his two daughters, Jordon and Dakota Newman of Edwardsburg, MI. His brothers, William (Jayne) Kanczuzewski, Chip and Rik Newman of South Bend, IN; his sisters, Nancy (Pat) Sharpe of Weeki Wachi, FL, and Lynn (Mike) Peddycord of Mishawaka, IN. His uncle, Robert Hunt of Edwardsburg, MI; his nieces, Kathryn and Tara Kanczuzewski, Ann-Marie and Lori Douglas, all of South Bend, IN, and his nephews, Thomas (Bonnie) Douglas of South Bend, IN, and Shawn Sharpe of Weeki Wachi, FL. Chris was the owner of Point Blank Tattoo and Piercing of South Bend, IN, where he worked for 8 years. Christ lived in California for 24 years and had many friends wherever he was. Chris loved BMX biking, golfing, jet skiing, and spending time with his two daughters. Chris was an avid BMX biker growing up and was once ranked highly in the nation. His family and daughters would like to say that he was a wonderful person with a good heart and they all missed him deeply. His memory will live on in us forever. A memorial/benefit will be held for his daughters, Jordon and Dakota, on Saturday, October 16 from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Point Blank Tattoo, 50921 State Road 933, South Bend, IN. The Welsheimer Family Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. E-mail condolences may be made to www.welsheimer.com.

i miss you chris, i remember when i was dating jeff Larosa in the 80's and you were his best friend, then you and my sister had jordon and Dakota, i cant believe you are really gone!!! i love you and miss you chris, God bless you, love Adrian Andreoni. to jojo and coco, now you have your mom and kevin and they will take very good care of you girls, your mom loves you girls more than anything in this world!!! you already know that, but right now times will be different without your dad but your mom will do everything she can do help you girls through this,and so will kevin :) try not to worry, put your trust in the lord and God, He will help you both heal in your own time, love always, your aunt Adrian xoxoxoxo i love you girl's so much! Dearest Daughter's, i know that you miss your dad, and so do i. kevin and i will do everything that we can to make your lives very happy and full of happy, good memories of your dad. i wish he were here so much, you know they say the good die young and in your dad's case this is true! i will always remember him as a good hearted man and dad, you are missed so much chris.
