John K. Nilsen

SOUTH BEND - John Karl Nilsen, 52, of South Bend, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at his residence.

He was born April 4, 1964 in Goshen to Robert W. Nilsen Sr. and Royann L. (Endsley) Cross.

John was a US Army veteran and spent several years serving in the National Guard.

He was employed as a crane operator at the Steel Warehouse Company for over 11 years, and was a devoted member of New Creation Fellowship Church.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 1 hour prior to the 4:00 PM celebration of life service on Sunday, August 7th at New Creation Fellowship, 30190 County Road 10, Granger, IN 46530. Pastor David L. Klahr will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Creation Fellowship in memory of John.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart, is entrusted with arrangements.
