It´s just over 12 years since John´s passing. The firm name came up on Facebook and I immediately thought of John and the contacts I had with him during the time I worked in my solo law practice and part-time public defender work during the 70´s before relocating my law practice to CA in 11/77. I always admired John for his cool competence in the legal matters through which we met. He was a gentleman and a standout and could be a tough adversary when he needed to be. You couldn´t not like John! I am very saddened that he was taken so young.

Dear Barbara, Deborah, Johnny, Cheryl, Ricky, Michael, and Laura, My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to you all on the sad loss of John. He will be dearly missed. I was so surprised to hear of this ....I didn't realize He was that sick when I saw you Barbara at the hospital. He was a good man and He loved you all very much. I remember how John liked to watch railroad trains just as I do. I will always cherish the memories of the time I spent with Debbie and her family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

John was a wonderful man. He used to let Tatia and I eat our lunch in his office when it wasn't nice enough to go outside. . . many years ago. My condolences to his family.

My sympathy and concern to John's family.

His calm demeanor and competence in the practice of law will be missed by those who knew him professionally.

May his family know the comfort of many who knew and appreciated the life he lived and the competence he had in his professional life.

John was an excellent attorney and at the same time a kind and gentle soul--a rare combination. He will be greatly missed by all of us in the legal community. However, he will always remain the very best example of the finest qualities of a lawyer. I didn't see John very often the past few years but I miss him no less. To his family and friends my condolences.
