Julie Lindstrom Obituary

Julie Marie Lindstrom March 3, 1964 - Dec. 26, 2014 OSCEOLA - Julie Marie Lindstrom, 50, went to be with the Lord on December 26, 2014, after a brief illness. Born on March 3, 1964, to Janice Lindstrom Bendix (Parker) and Gerald A. Lindstrom (Sandra), who survive along with a brother, Jerry A. Lindstrom; a sister, Judi M. LaViolette (John); and a niece, Emily Ann LaViolette. A nephew, Anthony M. Baker, preceded her in death. Also surviving is her loving companion of 10 years, Michael Sanders. She was a daughter to Nina Sanders, a mother to Melissa Sanders (James Hair), and a grandmother to James and Gabrielle. She was a mother to Ryan Sanders, who preceded her in death. Julie leaves behind many other loving family and friends who will deeply miss her quick wit and candor. Julie graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1982, and was valedictorian at Davenport College, Mishawaka, 1984. She spent many years in business for herself, worked as a dispatcher for four trucking companies, and most recently she was employed at B & B Maintenance, Office Pride, and Corner Stone Cleaning Service. She had an outgoing personality and loved people. She was always willing to help everyone else and never had time for herself. Her passions were cooking and computers. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley's Children Hospital in honor of Anthony Baker or Ryan Sanders. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at a later date; to be announced. Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements. I met Julie about 4 years ago and she brought such humor, laughter, funny & serious stories to me. We laughed & cried together. We had lots of late night chats & shared recipes. She was very dear to both my husband & myself. She will forever be in our hearts ??

Julie, I believe, was in my second grade class at P.C. Emmons in Mishawaka, In. She was an amazing student and was very friendly to everyone. I was Miss DiFiori back then.

I am SO missing you! Who am I going to talk to now about so many things? Who am I going to take with me to Taco Bell? You were a true friend to me. You always joked that you were Lucy and I was Ethel. Julie, until I see you again, rest in peace.
