Katherine Yoder Obituary
BUCHANAN - Katherine Luetta Yoder, 52, of Buchanan, died Wednesday, August 5, 2009, in Lakeland Medical Center, Niles, of natural causes. She was born to Jack and Joan (Cummings) Wright on July 24, 1957, in Niles, MI. In 1974 she married James Yoder in Niles, who survives. Also surviving are children, Kristina Yoder of Hobart, IN, and Keith Yoder of Buchanan; father, Jack Wright; sister, Pam Wright of Niles and Lois (Cliff) Yoder of Edwardsburg; and one grandchild, Avery Yoder. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Wright. Katherine graduated from Niles High School in 1975. She volunteered for 16 years at the Pregnancy Care Center in Niles and then continued to run the hotline from her home for a number of years. She was a devoted Christian, wife and mother. The memorial service will be at noon Tuesday, August 11, in Faith Victory Fellowship in Buchanan. Pastor David Mitchell will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Home, Inc., 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085; or to Faith Victory Fellowship, 13369 Main St., Buchanan, MI 49107.
