Kelvin Mwangi Obituary
MISHAWAKA - Kelvin M. Mwangi, 22, residing in Mishawaka, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012 after a swimming accident at his home. Kelvin was born September 9, 1989 in Nyeri, Kenya to Paul Mwangi and Perpetual Wambugu. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving Kelvin are his mother, Perpetual Wambugu of Mishawaka; sisters, Winfred and Jackline Mwangi, both of Kenya; twin brother, John Mwangi of Mishawaka; and brothers, James and Reuben Mwangi, both also of Kenya. Kelvin moved to the United States in March 2009 with his mother and twin brother. He worked as a program assistant for the Logan Center as well as Partners in Opportunities. He was a member of the Christian Church International, South Bend. Funeral services for Kelvin will be 4:00 pm Sunday, July 29, 2012 in Christian Church International, 1530 S. Main Street, South Bend, with Rev. Andrew Muturi officiating. Kelvin will later be flown to Kenya for his final resting place. Friends may visit with the family from noon until 3:30 pm Sunday in Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend prior to services at church. Contributions in memory of Kelvin may be donated to the family to help with funeral expenses through an account at Old Forest Bank, South Bend. Kelvin was a nices man and a good friend and a good worker with alot of people and was good with his clinets he loved his jobs he will be miss by alot of people he was a funny person to R.I.P. KELVIN
