SOUTH BEND - Marabelle Helen Folkner, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017, in her home.
Marabelle was born July 8, 1936, in South Bend, to the late James and Vera (Kaufman) Hunn. On April 27, 1963, Marabelle married the love of her life, Ralph J. Folkner.
Survivors of Marabelle include her husband, Ralph J. Folkner; children, Rebecca Folkner, Randal Folkner and Richard Folkner; grandchildren, Amber Folkner and Jason Jacobs; and a brother, James (Kay) Hunn.
Marabelle graduated from Central High School, then worked for the Bendix Corp. until the birth of her daughter. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and music, especially playing the piano and organ. Marabelle was a very sweet, kind, generous woman, always doing for others. Her family meant everything to her and being with them brought her great happiness. They will forever love and miss her.
Visitation for Marabelle will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, May 22, 2017, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 23, 2017, in St. Joseph Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
