Michael Brewer Obituary

Nov. 26, 1949 - June 18, 2007
SOUTH BEND - Michael J. Brewer, 57, died suddenly on Monday morning, June 18, in his residence. Michael was born November 26, 1949, in Muncie, IN, to Wilbur and Pauline (Groves) Brewer. On June 21, 1978, in Reno, Nevada, he married Catherine (Orr), who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Pauline Brewer of South Bend; two daughters, Hope (Chad) Brewer of Bakersfield, CA, and Michelle T. (Erik) Wiitanen of Seattle, WA; sons, Wayne (Cythel) Brewer of Phoenix, AZ, and Sgt. Daniel (Rochelle) Brewer of Seattle, WA, who is now serving his country in Afghanistan. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur Brewer, who passed away on October 21, 1986. Michael retired from F.E.M.A., and most recently was working for the Sherwin-Williams Paint Store on Nimtz Pkwy. as a salesman. He was a 1968 graduate of Washington High School, and was in the Air Force National Guard, having served in Turkey and the Philippines. Michael enjoyed building computers, loved talking to everyone he met, never meeting a stranger, and playing euchre with his many friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. There will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place at Welsheimer Crematory. Family and friends may leave e-mail condolences at [email protected].

My Dearest Polly,
Heartfelt sympathies are sent to you, to Cathy, and to your family. How sorry I was when I found that Mike had passed away.
