SOUTH BEND - Ozell Daniel “Danny” Carr II, age 63, formerly of South Bend, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017, of heart failure. He was born June 22, 1953, to Ella Mae and Ozell Carr in South Bend, IN. He resided in Las Vegas, NV. He was a graduate of LaSalle High School in 1971, and held jobs at Steele Warehouse, and Rosenbaum's Clothing store in South Bend, as well as Associated Concrete in Santa Ana, CA, and Robertson's Ready Mix in San Bernardino, CA. He was a skilled RC (remote control) car racer, with an extensive collection of RC, model cars, and motorcycles. Ozell enjoyed animals, fishing, music, and the great outdoors, and could always be found with a smile on his face and a zest for life. Ozell was a beloved son, father, brother, and uncle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Mae Carr, and his half sister, Brenda Garrett. He is survived by his father, Ozell Carr of Henderson; sons, Armando and Jermaine Carr, both of Las Vegas; sister, Pamela Carr; niece, Natasha Sconiers; great-niece, Paige Vukovich, and great-nephew, Peyton Vukovich, all of CA, along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services are pending at this time.
