Richard DeWitt Obituary
Richard D. "Rick" DeWitt , 54, (formerly of Shamong) currently of West Hanover Twp., PA, passed away April 1, 2011 in Community General Osteopathic Hosp. in Harrisburg, PA.
Born in Wilkinsburg, PA he was the son of the late Darrell DeWitt, Sr. and Mary Wolf DeWitt. He was a 1975 Shawnee H.S. graduate. He was a truck driver and warehouseman for Thermal Industries of Phila.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 20 years, Patricia A. Kostick DeWitt; two sisters, Carol Scheimreif wife of Jack of Tabernacle, Sandra Drayton wife of Harry of Shamong, and Darrell DeWitt, Jr. husband of the late Beverly of Cinnaminson and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on April 6, 2011 at Trefz Bowser Funeral Home, Hummelstown, PA. Internment will be at the convenience of the family.

Dear Patricia, please accept my deepest regrets on the passing of Ricky. We grew up together fishing and hunting in Indian Mills at Fawn Lake trailer park. Many fond memories, we all split up after HS and I didnt know what happened to our crowd. Give my best to his sis, Sandy and may GOD bless you and yours.

Patty,
I am very sorry for your loss and am so glad that you called me Saturday so we could have our little chat. You have Sharon to help you through this trying time.
Archbald was a long time ago but it will always be in our memory along with the Murrays. They are all gone now. And so it goes.
