I was so sorry to hear about George. I did not get Judy's e-mail until Monday what with the holiday and all. Please extend my deepest sympathies to your family and cherish all the good times your family has shared.

Our great regret is that time and distance kept us from getting to know George better. He was prone to hiding his light, letting others take the foreground, but through the photos at the wake we saw deeper into him, a gift we will always cherish. Rest in peace, George. Be well, Dorothy, Tom and Anthony.

George, I think of you and I feel the quiet strength of a majestic mountain, the soft song of a brook in the woods, the refreshing touch of a soft breeze and I am calm inside. I smile when I remember you. You had that influence and we never had a long converation: we were just in the same room at times. You were chosen for Dorothy and I'm glad you have each other...
