Paul Marobella Obituary

Paul A. Marobella, of Malden, formerly of Avon, passed away peacefully on Nov. 23, 2014, at the age of 91. Born and raised in Cambridge, Paul graduated from Cambridge schools and then entered the United States Navy, serving during WWII. While in the Navy, he was the recipient of the WWII Victory Medal, European African Area Ribbon and the American Area Ribbon. Paul retired as a Time Study Machinist for a manufacturing company and was a former Avon Firefighter and a member of the Avon VFW. Paul was a resident of Avon for many years before moving to Malden. Paul is the beloved husband of Marilyn (Palsgraf) Marobella and the late Barbara Marobella. Loving father of Susan Conley of Plymouth, Janet Hogan of Wareham, Barbara Pizziferri of Bridgewater, Michelle DeAngelis of Bridgewater, Kirk Harrigan of Ariz. and the late Kathleen Kean. Step-father of Deborah Camara of Plymouth, Laura Dillon of Woburn, William Carr of Brockton and the late Richard Carr. Devoted brother Jacqueline Halpin of Dorchester, Grace Quayle of Cambridge and the late Gig Marobella. Also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Paul will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
