Scott J. Parsons

Scott J. Parsons, 49, of East Wareham, formerly of Sharon and Taunton, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at Mass. General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness. He was the son of Elisa (Carrara) Parsons of Sharon and the late Frederick P. Parsons. Born in Boston, Scott was raised in Sharon graduating from Sharon High School in 1981. A former resident of Taunton, he moved to Wareham four years ago. Scott was employed as a truck driver for Graham Waste Management of Brockton. Scott loved the ocean spending many summers on Harbor Beach in Mattapoisett. He also enjoyed lobster fishing on his boat, Julie Anne. Survivors include his fiancee, Julie A. Abele; and her children, Sydney and Connor Abele of East Wareham; his mother, Elisa Parsons of Sharon; his brother, Larry F. Parsons of Canton; his sister, Lisa A. Caudle and her husband James of Foxboro; and his niece and nephews, Michael, Brian and Michelle. His funeral service will be held Thursday, May 24, at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rte. 28), Wareham, at 4 p.m. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. prior to the service.
