Dear McAllister Family....I am so sorry to see this in The Enterprise online.
Wayne and I were childhood friends - all through North Jr High and Brockton High.
Although I have been away from Brockton for many years, when I think back to growing up there and to remembering those times, Wayne is always included in my memories. I know he grew up to be a wonderful man....as he was a wonderful guy to begin with then. I had heard he was a fireman and that he was proud to be one and that he was also very proud of his family. I'm glad he had a happy life. I wish you all the best possible at this very difficult time. It's hard to say "good-bye".
