David Reilly Obituary

David Joseph Joe Reilly, of Quincy passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015, at the age of 87. Born in Quincy where he was raised and educated, he lived there nearly all his life. Joe worked for Duanes Wrecking Company for over 40 years and was a Korean War Veteran, earning two Bronze Stars. The beloved husband of the late Ruth M. (Kusser) Reilly, Joe was the loving father of Lynn Menconi and her husband Michael of Hingham and the late Sandra Reilly of N.J.; the dear grandfather of Michael Menconi Jr. and Meredith Menconi, both of Hingham; and the brother of Marguerite Demone of Falmouth and the late John Reilly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm Street, Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Monday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy.
