Dolores A. Burrows

Dolores A. (Overton) Burrows of Taunton, formerly of Easton and Jericho, Vt., passed away peacefully on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2011, at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert Bob J. Burrows. She was the mother of Kathleen Shubitowski and her husband Leonard of Easton, Patty McEntee and her husband Peter of Sandwich, Nancy Geary and her husband Michael of Connecticut, Timothy Burrows and his wife Georgiana of Vermont and Thomas Burrows and his wife Sarah of Vermont. She was the sister of John Overton of Canton, William Overton of Connecticut, Charles Overton of Easton, and the late Kathleen Chipman. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and her dog Maisy. Dolores was a graduate of St. Johns School in Canton and attended Holy Ghost Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoyed being active and involved in her childrens activities especially hockey. She worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Norwood. Funeral from the Copeland-MacKinnon Funeral Home, 38 Center St., Easton, Friday, Dec. 30, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase St., at 10 a.m. Calling hours Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton.
