I met George about 30 years ago when he & Stan owned Hometown Video. It was always a pleasure to see him,as the video store was right next to my house & with 5 small kids, we were there every day! George was one of the funniest & most certainly one of the nicest guys I know. Happily I ran into him last month as we were both walking into a building in Braintree & I was able to tell him just how great it was having them as a "neighbor" all those years. My sincere condolences to his wife & children. George was the best!

For many years George was incredible wealth of knowledge when I would call or sit with him asking questions about baseball. He never once didn't have the time to chat, even tho his pup Angus wasn't as accommodating. Shirley, Randy, Brian & TJ you have lost a wonderful man, husband, a Dad and without a doubt an awesome Papa. George and all of you will always be in my prayers, he will live on in each of you. God Bless

To Shirley, Judy, Butch and all the kids and grandkids,
Georgie was an awesome guy. The most handsome kid in the neighborhood. It was great being next door neighbors with him and Judy. I will always remember him as kind and always happy. He'll be greatly missed by all.
God bless and comfort you all!!

I'll miss when you would take me to work with you and try to teach me to do things right, just like in baseball. Camping, family gatherings, many great memories. I would call you for help like when I'd break down, or even for some advice and you would always be there. I could use one of your really long stories right now, I already miss you so much. I love you daddy.
Love always, your baby boy,
TJ
